UK-based · Built for non-technical, founder-led companies

Know what matters.
Ignore what doesn’t.

BUILT FOR A SPECIFIC GAP

Useful when the decision matters,
but a full internal strategy team does not make sense.

Pioneered sits between general technology information and implementation. We research, interpret and recommend; we do not sell software or earn implementation commission.

COMMON TRIGGERS

01

A major software or automation decision.

02

Pressure to adopt AI without a clear case.

03

Operational or competitive change.

THE QUARTERLY TECHNOLOGY EXPOSURE REVIEW

A decision tool,
not another report.

We learn how your business works, test the developments most likely to affect it, and turn the evidence into a focused leadership agenda.

BETWEEN REVIEWS

You hear from us only when something material changes.

WHAT LEADERSHIP RECEIVES

A short list of decisions,
backed by evidence.

Each recommendation states what to do, why it matters, what remains uncertain and what evidence would change the answer.

2-MINUTE EXPOSURE CHECK

Where is technology pressure building in your business?

Answer a short set of questions to see which risk or decision may deserve attention first.

2-MINUTE TECHNOLOGY EXPOSURE CHECK

Build a sharper view of the decision pressure around your business.

This is not a generic maturity score. Your result combines the source of pressure, company size, how decisions are made and the outcome leadership needs.

1live pressure

1. What is creating pressure?
2. Approximately how many people work in your company?
3. How are technology decisions usually made?
4. What would be most valuable now?

CLEAR COMMERCIAL TERMS

A defined scope and fee before work begins.

We charge for independent research, interpretation and decision support—not software sales or implementation. Timing, deliverables and fees are agreed in writing before you commit.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clear answers,
before we begin.

Do we need to be a certain size?+

No. Headcount is a weak proxy for need. We look at operational complexity, the consequence of a poor decision, the speed of market change and whether anyone owns independent technology interpretation.

Are you an implementation agency or software reseller?+

No. We do not earn commission from product sales or implementation. We may identify when specialist technical, legal, security or financial input is needed, but we keep that separate from our intelligence work.

What does leadership receive?+

A concise, company-specific exposure view, the evidence and uncertainty behind it, clear recommendations and a leadership discussion to agree priorities and next steps.

Can we start with one decision?+

Yes. A Technology Decision Review is deliberately bounded around one question, its credible options, the available evidence and the commercial risk of acting—or waiting.

How are scope and pricing agreed?+

You receive a written scope, deliverables, timing and fee before committing. We aim for the smallest credible engagement and will say when a specialist—or no engagement—is the better next step.
